Filmmaking basics *New Class*

Have an idea for an independent short film you’d like to make? With Covid keeping us home more, now is a great time to create, plan, and do it yourself. Join filmmaker, writer, and producer Mark J. Parker as he shares his knowledge of making films and guides you through the steps of bringing an idea to the
screen, from development through distribution and publicity. All participants should have a film idea that they are comfortable describing and should be prepared for some brainstorming with the instructor. No actual filming will take place in this workshop. Masks required.

Karate

Join 9th Degree Black Belt and Head Instructor of the NE Okinawan Karate Dojo, Greg Lazarus for our new Karate Program! He welcomes students (8 years of age and older) that come to him with the desire to learn the true essence of Matsumura Seito Karate-do. Shihan Lazarus has been training students since 1980. Our classes stress Traditional Protocol, Self-Discipline and Quality Authentic Training and Techniques. Family discounts are offered. A uniform is required and can be purchased through the instructor. No drop ins. Masks required.

HOSTING/PODCASTING Basics *NEW CLASS*

Interested in hosting your own YouTube channel, podcast, or social media page? People want entertainment and content now more than ever, and it’s not that hard to make on your own! Join podcast producer & media coach Mark J. Parker as he shares tips, statistics, and his experience creating and distributing digital
content at home. All participants should have an idea or interest in a certain topic and be prepared to practice their communication skills. Mark will offer feedback, best practices, and performance exercises to help you become camera and radio ready for a hungry audience. Masks required.
